Trending real estate Porsche Design Tower Miami to Mix Technology with Luxury by Mary Ann DeSantis The name Porsche is synonymous with technically engi- neered luxury so it’s no surprise Porsche Design Tower Miami will feature one-of-a kind innovations and ame- nities that seem almost futuristic. The ultra high-end, 60-story, 132-residence tower is the luxury brand’s first foray into residential real estate and is the result of a Master Licensing Agreement between the Porsche De- sign Group and New York/South Florida developer Dezer Development. Among the many innovative features will be an automo- bile lift system that allows owners to park their cars in ‘sky garages’ directly next to their units. Residents will drive into one of three circular platforms in the building’s center, and the robotic parking system will do the rest by transporting the vehicles into the private garages. Ranging from 4,200 to 14,000 square feet, the con- dominiums are priced from $3.9 million to $21 million. Almost every balcony will feature a private pool. Other amenities include a state-of-the-art spa, an oceanfront ballroom, multi-purpose club rooms, a movie theatre and a ‘car concierge.’ Construction on the cylindrical tower at 18555 Collins Avenue begins in 2013 with completion expected in 2016.
